Fresh Sets Harlem was created from a simple feeling: wanting a beauty space that felt like home.

As a Black woman, founder Ashley struggled to find a salon where she felt truly seen, welcomed, and comfortable — a place that celebrated creativity, culture, and community while still providing a clean, elevated experience. After sharing that feeling with her roommate, Lindsey, the two realized they could create the space they had been searching for.

In 2025, Ashley and Lindsey came together to build more than a nail salon — they created a safe, welcoming space in their neighborhood where everyone can feel seen, express themselves, and leave feeling confident. Fresh Sets Harlem was built on the belief that beauty is personal, self-care is essential, and community is everything.

Rooted in Harlem, we celebrate individuality through fresh sets, thoughtful details, and an experience that feels like home. Every appointment is a chance to connect, create, and keep culture and community thriving — one set at a time.
